Meet Tracey – the Heart of Point Break!

At Point Break Fitness in Lincoln City, Tracey Taylor brings over two decades of experience and passion to the Oregon Coast fitness community. Before founding Point Break, Tracey trained and coached for many years with 24 Hour Fitness in Portland, where he built a reputation for motivating people of all ages and fitness levels to reach their goals safely and confidently. Today, he’s known for running one of the cleanest, friendliest, and most well-equipped gyms on the coast — a space where everyone feels welcome, from first-time gym-goers to seasoned athletes.

Tracey’s approach is personal and down-to-earth: no gimmicks, no long-term contracts — just honest training, flexible memberships, and real results. Every new member gets a free fitness assessment and individualized plan, helping you start strong and stay consistent. Local members rave about the gym’s atmosphere, cleanliness, and Tracey’s genuine care for his clients’ progress. Melissa Caye

Yoga

With decades of experience, my yoga journey began in a NYC studio and has blossomed through training at The Kripalu Center and the Omega Institute. I offer a range of classes on the beautiful Oregon Coast, including Vinyasa Flow, Power, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. My sessions incorporate cranial massage, Reiki, sound healing, and essential oils to enrich your practice.

Melissa is a certified yoga instructor.

 

Megan Morris

Barre

Fridays at the barre! This 45 minute low impact class combines different elements of yoga, pilates, and ballet into one full body workout.  Fine tune those muscles while improving flexibility and your overall health and fitness.

Sarah Bach

Dance Fitness & Strength Training

In dance fitness class we focus on cardio, coordination & control of our bodies with a lot of creativity. It’s easier to “exercise or workout” when you’re having fun with a sparkly belt on your hips, yes are belts provided

In strength training class we work on a rotating combination of basic compound exercises created to provide progression for each person. A fun follow along group setting to encourage and motivate each other.

Senior Fitness

Active Seniors Fitness Class is designed for older adults looking to maintain mobility, strength, and overall wellness. This class focuses on moderate, low-impact exercises that improve balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Each session includes guided warm-ups, light aerobic activities, strength training with resistance bands or dumbbells, and cool-down stretches. Perfect for seniors who enjoy staying active in a supportive, engaging environment, this class can be adapted to fit various fitness levels while encouraging social interaction and fun.

WARRIOR Strength and WARRIOR Combat

Fitness-focused with yoga undertones, WARRIOR Rhythm™ increases strength, flexibility, and balance. It’s yoga + weights + HIIT + mindfulness rolled into one insanely rhythmic experience! Grab a yoga mat, and weights and get ready for unconventional yoga flows and unforgettable playlists designed to unleash your inner wild thing!

Boxing inspired, powerful, and fierce, WARRIOR Combat includes high intensity intervals, stress-melting strength training, and music driven fight combinations. This empowering conditioning class makes you feel like a confident badass.

HIIT and Core Classes

Mondays at 6 am and Saturdays at 7:30 am are 30 minute HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style classes. During these 30 minutes, we aim to get our heart rates up using a variety of exercises including bodyweight, dumbbells and combo moves. These classes are meant to be quick and challenging to get the most out of our 30 minutes together. Wednesday at 6 am is my 30 minute Core class. This class has a focus on the middle part of your body and includes stomach, lower back, hips and pelvis. We welcome all fitness levels and strive to meet clients at their individual level.
